Clear vocals work best. Lyrics come back as timed lines you can export to LRC or SRT.
Lyrics sites cover the hits, but not your band demo, a live take, a song in another language or the track you wrote last week. So people fall back on the slowest method: play two seconds, pause, type, rewind, and guess at the words buried under the drums. A chorus might take ten listens and still come out wrong. An AI lyric extractor does the first pass for you. It hears where each line starts, writes what is sung and hands you timed lines, so your job becomes checking a draft instead of decoding a song from scratch.
Words, timing and playback together, so the job ends with a file you can actually use.
The result is split into lines the way they are sung and grouped into verses wherever the singer pauses, with no speaker labels in the way.
Each line keeps the moment it starts, so you can click any line to hear it and every export stays in time with the song.
Play the song and watch the current line light up as it is sung. It is the quickest way to spot a misheard word.
Copy the plain words, or download LRC for music players, SRT or VTT for a lyric video, and DOCX or PDF for a lyric sheet.
The sung language is detected automatically, from English and Spanish pop to K-pop, Bollywood and French chanson.
Get lyrics from MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG audio, or go from video to lyrics with an MP4 music video or a live clip. A direct link to a media file works too.
Run a song through AI and extract the lyrics without typing a word yourself.
Sign in, then drop in an audio file or a music video, or paste a direct link. MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, MP4 and MOV all work, and new accounts start with free credits.
Leave the language on Auto or pick it yourself, and click Transcribe. The AI listens to the vocals and writes the words line by line with timing. A typical song is ready in a minute or two.
Play the track and follow the highlighted lines to check the words, then copy lyrics from the song view or download TXT, LRC or SRT. To correct a word or move a line, open the LRC download in the LRC generator.
Built for music, not meetings: lines, timing and formats that singers and creators actually use.
Like an AI lyrics detector, the tool listens for the voice inside the mix and writes down what is sung. It handles a finished master, a rough phone demo or a rehearsal recording, and works as a lyric finder from audio when you only have the song and not its words. Extracting lyrics from a song with a clear lead vocal gives the cleanest result. With heavy distortion, a loud crowd or several singers at once, expect a few lines to need a second look, and use the playback to check them quickly.
Upload a SongChecking lyrics is far easier when the words move with the music. Press play and the words fill in one by one as they are sung, while a Now singing card shows the current and the next line. Click any line to jump straight to it, search for a word, and if the whole song runs a touch early or late, shift it with the sync offset in tenth of a second steps. Use it to learn a song, to prepare a performance, or to proof the result before you publish, without scrubbing through the waveform to find your place.
See It in ActionGo from song to text in one click and copy the plain words for a lyric sheet, a booklet or a chord chart. Download LRC for music players and karaoke apps, with word timing when the AI timed each word, SRT or VTT to place the lines on a video timeline, or a DOCX or PDF lyric sheet. Want to tweak the timing by hand? Open the result in the LRC generator and tap along to adjust any line. For subtitles of spoken dialogue rather than singing, audio to SRT is the better fit.
Export My LyricsGet the words in the language they are sung in, detected automatically. Then translate the text to understand a song from abroad, prepare a cover in your own language or subtitle a music video for new fans. The original lines keep their timing, so a translated LRC or SRT still matches the song. For speech in another language, the audio translator does the same for interviews and videos.
Translate LyricsAn original song, transcribed and timed in one pass. Press play to follow the lines, then switch between TXT, LRC and SRT to see each export.
[ti:Come On Home] [length:00:31] [00:01.20]I left a light on by the door [00:04.60]In case you wander back this way [00:08.10]The kettle hums the way it did before [00:11.80]And I have learned the words to say [00:15.20] [00:16.40]So come on home, come on home [00:19.40]The night is long but not alone [00:22.80]So come on home, come on home [00:25.80]I kept the key, I kept the tune
Each line keeps its start time, which is why the same lyrics from audio can become three different files. TXT holds the words with a blank line between verses. LRC puts a [mm:ss.xx] tag in front of every line for music players. SRT turns each line into a numbered caption with a start and end time for video editors.
Three common routes, and where each one falls short.

It can detect lyrics in most mixes and is very good on clear lead vocals, but less reliable when the voice is buried, heavily distorted, shouted or doubled by several singers. Always play the result back once, because even trained ears disagree on some sung words.
