Korean changes its verb endings with every level of politeness, often leaves out the subject and mixes in English loanwords that sound nothing like English. Fans, students and business teams all run into the same wall: the gist is easy, the exact words are not. EzTranscriber writes the Korean down in Hangul first and then translates the full transcript, so you can translate Korean speech to English with every sentence in context and check any line against what was really said.
One upload gives you the Korean transcript and the English translation, sentence by sentence.
The Korean is written in Hangul with normal word spacing and punctuation, ready to quote, search or send to a native speaker.
Whole sentences are translated together, so polite endings and dropped subjects come out as normal English, not word lists.
Every English line sits next to its Korean line with the speaker and the time, so checking a quote takes one glance.
Rename Speaker 1 to Minho or Director Kim once and the name carries into the English and every export.
Export SRT or VTT with the original timing to add English subtitles to Korean vlogs, classes and interviews.
Recordings are processed privately and kept only in your history, where you can delete them at any time.
This page opens with Korean as the spoken language and English as the target.
Drop an MP3, M4A, WAV or other audio file, or a video such as MP4 or MOV. A direct link to a media file works too. The length and credit cost show before you start.
From is set to Korean and To is set to English. Pick another target if your readers need it. Sign in, and new accounts get free credits.
The result opens on the English. Switch to the Korean or the side by side view, click a line to hear it, then download TXT, DOCX, PDF, SRT or VTT.
From a short voice message to a long lecture, the Korean and the English follow the recording line by line.
Korean marks respect in the verb: 감사합니다, 고마워요 and 고마워 all mean thank you, at different levels of politeness. Titles such as 선생님 or 사장님 have no single English word. A good translation keeps the tone without inventing awkward phrases, and because the whole transcript is translated together, polite speech reads as polite English and casual chat reads as casual. The side by side view always shows which form the speaker used.
Translate Korean Speech to EnglishThe transcript is written in Hangul with the word spacing Korean readers expect, loanwords like 커피 and 핸드폰 spelled the Korean way, and numbers written as digits. It is easy to search, quote and hand to a native speaker for review. There is no romanized line; the English sits next to the Korean instead. Need only the Korean? Read the Original view and skip translation.
Get the Korean TranscriptUpload a Korean interview, class or vlog as MP4 or MOV and export the English as SRT or VTT. Each caption keeps the time it was spoken, so Korean to English video translation lines up in YouTube, Premiere Pro or CapCut. For caption length controls use audio to SRT, and for any spoken video see video to text.
Translate Korean Video to EnglishSpeaker labels are found in the Korean audio and kept on every English line, with the time each sentence was spoken. Search either language for a name or a product, click the timestamp and hear it in Korean.
Translate an InterviewAn interview with a webtoon artist in Seoul. Switch between Korean, English and side by side, and click any line.
See how the respectful 그리셨어요 and 작업하세요 become plain, friendly English questions, how 영광입니다 becomes "it is an honor", and how the native number 열 시간 becomes ten hours. This is what you export as a bilingual DOCX or as English subtitles.
Six details that make Korean recordings easier to read in English.
Formal 합니다, polite 해요 and casual 해 endings change the tone, not the meaning. The English keeps the tone, and the Korean form stays visible next to it.
Family names come first, as in Kim Minji, and titles like 님 are folded into natural English. Check names in the side by side view before you publish.
Korean counts hours with native numbers and minutes with Sino-Korean ones. The English writes them all as digits, easy to check against the audio.
Standard Seoul Korean is the strongest case. Busan and other regional accents are recognized as Korean, but very local words may need a quick listen.
Several people talking over each other lowers accuracy in any language. Interviews and one speaker videos give the cleanest Korean transcription.
This is AI translation, not a certified one. For visa or legal papers, use it as a draft and have a qualified translator sign the final text.
Three ways to turn Korean audio into English, and what each one gives you.
