Musicians Learning Songs
Slow solos and grooves down to learn them note by note, then speed back up; turn them into tabs with the guitar tab generator.
Drop in a track and this free BPM changer sets a new tempo by percentage or by exact target BPM while the key stays where it is. The original BPM is detected for you, the new tempo updates as you move the control, and you hear it live before you download WAV or MP3. Everything runs in your browser.

Learning a fast solo, mixing two tracks a few BPM apart and running a class at exactly 128 BPM all come down to one job: changing the tempo without wrecking the sound. Media players drag the pitch along with the speed, and a DAW is a lot of setup for one edit. A BPM changer does it in your browser in seconds, with the key left where it was.
A tempo changer with speed control that keeps the music sounding like itself.
Change tempo anywhere from 50% to 200% and the key stays exactly where it was, so voices and instruments sound natural.
Type the BPM you need, such as 128, and the speed is worked out for you from the detected tempo.
The original BPM and key are found on your device as soon as the song loads.
Hear the new tempo instantly, loop a tricky section and flip between the original and the new version.
One-click presets for Slowed + Reverb, Daycore, Sped Up and Nightcore, with adjustable reverb.
Export lossless WAV or MP3 in three sizes, with the new tempo in the file name and no watermark.
From the original tempo to a new one in under a minute.
Drop an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, AAC or MP4 file of up to 15 minutes into the box above, or try the demo. The original BPM and key appear in a few seconds.
Drag the speed control for a quick tempo adjust, use the 1% steps, or type a target BPM to change BPM exactly. The new BPM and length update live, and the key stays the same unless you switch to vinyl mode.
Loop the section you care about, flip between the original and the new tempo, then download WAV or MP3.
For practice rooms, DJ booths, dance studios and editing desks.
Slow down a song to 50% or 75% and every note of a fast solo, a drum fill or a vocal run becomes clear, at the original pitch so you can play along in tune. Drag across the waveform to loop the hard bar, then raise the tempo a few percent each time you nail it. It is the quickest way to slow down music for practice, a song tempo changer that works like a patient teacher, and it helps just as much when you need to slow down audio to write out lyrics or a lecture by ear.
Slow Down a SongDJs and producers rarely think in percentages. Type the tempo you want and the BPM changer works out the speed: a 124 BPM track set to 128 runs at 103.2%, and the length updates to match. Use it as a song BPM changer for mashups, an MP3 BPM changer for a fitness playlist or an audio BPM changer for a sample that has to sit in your session, then change BPM online for the next track. It doubles as a music tempo adjuster for live sets, with nothing to install.
Set a Target BPMTurning up the playback rate in a media player raises the pitch along with the speed, which is why sped up voices sound like cartoons. This tempo changer stretches the audio in time instead, so you can speed up audio, speed up a song for a workout mix or speed up music for a quick edit while the key stays put. Want the vinyl sound on purpose? Switch off Keep original pitch and the pitch rises and falls with the speed, just like a record. Either way you change audio speed in your browser, and the same tool works as an audio speed changer, a music speed changer, a song speed changer and an MP3 speed changer.
Speed Up a SongOne click sets up the sounds you hear all over short video apps. Slowed + Reverb plays the song at 0.8x with a big, washy reverb; Daycore is a gentler 0.85x with light reverb; Sped Up runs at 1.15x and Nightcore at 1.25x, with the pitch moving along with the speed. Every preset is only a starting point: adjust the speed, the reverb mix and the room size, from a small room to a large hall, then download. It is a quick nightcore maker and slowed and reverb maker built into the same BPM changer.
Try a PresetType the original and the target BPM to see the speed, the new length and what vinyl mode would do to the pitch. Hear both tempos on the metronome.
Speed is simply the target BPM divided by the original: 120 to 96 BPM is 80%, and a 3:30 song becomes about 4:23 long. With Keep original pitch on, the key stays put; in vinyl mode, 80% speed also lowers the pitch by about 3.9 semitones.
Good starting points for the tempo changer, for the most common reasons to change tempo.

I learn jazz solos by slowing them to 70% and looping one bar at a time. The pitch stays put, so I can play along on my sax in tune.
